Guerra González y Asociados, S.C.  was founded by Mr. Jaime René Guerra González on December 11, 1989. Mr. Guerra has more than 43 years of experience and in the 20 years of the firm’s existence, he has managed to establish himself as Mexico’s leading litigation specialist.

The firm began operations with just seven members working in a single office in Mexico City where Mr. Guerra began his task of offering his clients assistance along with his services and experience in matters involving civil, commercial, and administrative lawsuits as well as in “amparo” (injunction) proceedings.

The company’s professionalism, ethical basis, quality of service, human approach, and personalized attention to its clients, the objectivity of its advice, its follow-up for each and every trial, and its judicial and legal strategies allowed it to expand very quickly by attracting and retaining some of the leading figures and companies in the business world, both in Mexico and abroad while forging professional alliances and ties with a number of law firms all around the world.

By 1997, as a result of the firm being vanguard in up-to-the-minute information and technology, Guerra González y Asociados, S.C. increased the firm’s size to68 members, as well as established offices in the most important Mexican cities such as Monterrey, Guadalajara, Aguascalientes, and Mazatlán. By then, the firm had 9 litigation partners in addition to its founding partner as well as an Administrative partner.
